Dean Klafuric signed a new contract with Ethnikos Achnas
Head coach Dean Klafuric agreed on a new 1-year contract with the Cyprus
First division club, Ethnikos Achnas, that starts in May 2020. Klafuric and his
coaching staff did a great job in 10 matches and managed to get two big
victories – over Anarthosis (5:0) and at Omonia 2:1.
Dean’s team managed to get two sound wins and got Ethnikos up to 21 points
in 10 matches, which club management supported with the new contract
proposal.
– I would like to thank club management and the rest of the employees on
their support. It is a pleasure to work in such environment and we are looking
forward to the new season – said Klafuric, who has Damir Milanovic, as a first
assistant coach and Mario Skrablin, as a fitness and strenght coach.
Additional members of the coaching staff are Bojan Markoski (picture below on the left), 38-year old veteran with a huge experience in Cyprus football, working as an assistant coach and Oleg Venchak (picture below on the right), goalkeepers coach.
– Both Bojan and Oleg fit really well in our coaching staff with their personality
and life approach. We are happy to have them here in Ethnikos Achnas – said
Klafuric, who is a true football fanatic.
42-years old Venchak worked in Ukrainian club Karpaty Lviv and works in
Ethnikos for the last three years. 36-years old Markoski played in Cyprus for
six seasons and has a great knowledge about other clubs and players.
